The entire party system must be rearranged, and the politicians in Bulgaria to work in a completely new way. This was stated in the show "Supportive people" the former spokesman of Rumen Radev's offices Anton Kutev.
He was adamant: "It will happen. The question is whether it will be done through populism, or whether it will be done through some meaningful projects that, over time, will lead to real political and economic results."
When asked if there is a chance to have a cabinet after these early parliamentary elections, he answered: "Whenever there are 260 deputies, 120 of them can form a government. What will happen after the election is difficult to predict now because we have to see what the configuration will be."
According to Kutev, it is very important what the turnout will be, and he himself expects it to be below 33%.
"Which means even greater illegitimacy of the parties. And this is actually the question of whether there will be a government - whether the parties that take any leading positions there have the legitimacy to make the compromises, because the coalition is a compromise," Kutev pointed out to Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, it is not important who will head the Council of Ministers.
"The question is whether we have a person or a group of people who know how to lead Bulgaria out of the crisis. Who are ready to do it, who know the sacrifices they will have to make and who have a clear mind that they are not working for themselves but for the state. And the problem, in fact, of political fragmentation is that none of the political forces gives us that certainty. On the contrary - everyone has some doubts - whether he has sold himself, whether he has sold himself. We'll see if they sold out after the elections," explained Anton Kutev.
