We have not hit a bigger bottom than this at the moment – we pierced the globe. This is what he said in the show “This Morning” on bTV Prof. Velislav Minekov, former Minister of Culture in several caretaker governments.
„I get very angry when I see all this. We do not deserve our democracy. Too bad what happened to us 35 years ago. "We are nothing compared to what democracy means," he pointed out.
Prof. Velislav Minekov said that various civil associations want to do something new and significant on the political scene. According to him, they are now warming up and will soon enter politics. However, he denied that there is a specific leader around whom all those who are not satisfied with the current situation should unite.
„There are various experiments and attempts are being made to find the right leader. He will be found”, he is categorical.
According to him, the deputies will not elect a speaker of the parliament even today. He is adamant that the only option is for everyone to unite around the election of a consensus figure, such as Prof. Silvi Kirilov from ITN.
„There will be no government. This is not in Boyko Borisov's interest. Note that he has one quality that you don't notice – he is a coward. One such appearance of his at the top of the government means his sad loss. This time, what will happen on the square will be terrifying”, Prof. Minekov also commented.
