Vanya Grigorova: Vasil Terziev brags about saplings, and Vtora Gradska will lose its license - 1

"Vasil Terziev reports as incredible success planting 2500 saplings and collecting 200 bags of garbage from the "Faculty" and 400 sacks from "Philippians". He reports on the repairs carried out in the 28th DCC, for which not a penny was given from the municipal budget. Some of the repairs were carried out with both hands of the manager. This is already cynical," declared BSP municipal councilor Vanya Grigorova in the program "The Day ON AIR".

She emphasized that there are no new vehicles for urban transport, and no second-hand ones have been purchased.

"In the budget update there is not a penny for improving working conditions. We had agreed that emergency funds would be allocated. Somehow it turned out that there were no funds. How could it not, since in the first 9 months they collected BGN 83 million more from local taxes and fees?! They are trying to finance projects for which funds have not been allocated to a sufficient extent. But there are many other capital investments that have not been made," Grigorova explained to Bulgaria ON AIR.

The municipal councilor pointed out that there are unspent funds in the amount of BGN 5 million for the municipal hospitals.

"I met with almost all the hospital directors. The director of Vtora gradska shared that he has not had an angiographer for a year. We will lose the license with which the municipal hospital operates. He has the money, but someone has to sign it. Mr. Ivan Vasilev - Deputy Mayor for Finance and Health, has not yet signed the reports because he wants to take the money for other projects. We will bring them in without the deputy mayor", Grigorova also said.

"The position of the chief architect cannot help but be important. The rebuilding of Sofia is possible, but he is the one who decides whether to use the loopholes in the law... It is important to have transparency in competitions for such important positions", the guest pointed out.

Grigorova noted that "Heating" is in traditional poor condition. She is of the opinion that the problem stems largely from national decisions.

"When I said that the rejection of the contract with "Gazprom" it is harmful, whatever epithets the right-wing opponents used to throw at me. The increase in the price of gas was not automatically increased in the price for consumers, because they would go bankrupt and the loss is piling up," the municipal councilor added.
