&bdquo For many months now, Borisov has been saying bad things only about PP, never about DB. For a long time now, DB and DSB have been much more accommodating towards Borissov compared to PP. I'm starting to wonder if this wink that DB and DSB made isn't another tailwind for the government. Is it not possible to make a government GERB, DB, BSP and ITN“.
This is what sociologist Parvan Simeonov from “Gallup International” said. in front of bTV.
„It becomes a strange puzzle where all kinds of plays are possible and there is a window to do something. The question is whether they realize that with new elections the situation will be even more difficult. If Radev does the elections tomorrow, Peevski's result may not be the same, but if Radev does not do them, and this cabinet does, Peevski's result is expected to increase. It's getting more and more difficult, and if they don't do it now, when will they do it," added Simeonov.
According to the sociologist, “the collaborative parts of the two camps – Borisov-Peevski and PP-DB“ they are still looking for some way, and rather there is a fleeting possibility of general management on the part of DB.
„In 2020 in the midst of the protests, including the "Rosenets" one, Hristo Ivanov had a direct relationship with Borisov. He never closed the door to Borisov and said "leave Peevski and come with us and you will be forgiven and Peevski will be bad", as happened with Geshev. I read in a publication that if this with the cordon happens, Mr. Peevski states that there will be heavy opposition. That means he's used to the idea. Borisov also crookedly signed something, Parvan Simeonov pointed out.
„They are probably thinking the following – in GERB there is little “New beginning”, in BSP there are visible clips “New beginning”, i.e. “The New Beginning” it can be introduced, but let's not through the front entrance and apparently Mr. Peevski is getting used to the idea. PP-DBs have to get used to this thought, obviously DBs get used to it easier because they are not from yesterday. I believe that Borisov invented the formula – with the four parties. It seems logical and possible, slightly ugly politically pragmatic, but what else are we left with, added the sociologist.
However, according to him, the parties do not have a very clear plan and it remains unclear whether the Speaker of the National Assembly will be elected.
„In politics, what is ultimately important is what is public opinion, what is the niche, the wave, what is the glue. There was an anti-Borisov glue, then there was a glue war, now as you can see there is no prevailing wind, it is not clear what the public order is. You can see how difficult it is for the progressive liberals, for example in one photo of Peevski with the Ukrainian ambassador, they wonder which is worse – whether the Kremlin or corruption, which of the two winds is currently blowing”, commented Parvan Simeonov.
