We should all be afraid that the voters will not withdraw from active politics. The efforts to have a parliament are to stabilize the country, to have functioning institutions. This was stated by the MP from the "BSP" United Left" Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova in the program "Face to Face" on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.
The meetings of "BSP – United Left" with the rest of the parties represented in parliament, with the exception of DPS – A new beginning, the aim is to list specific steps to be implemented after the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, she added.
According to her, the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speakers of the National Assembly is a step that will prevent further elections. "The question we have to answer is, are new elections necessary? Our answer is no. Let each of the other groups say – I'm not for elections", asked Assoc. Kiselova.
Our hope is that the majority of people's representatives will shake their hands that certain steps will be taken. Our efforts go through these conversations. The general steps will show the direction. My application is a consequence of this. The understanding that there will be a chairman of the National Assembly without discussing the next steps is a temporary postponement of the blockage, according to Prof. Nataliya Kiselova.
"It is not at all costs for me to be a candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament," Kiselova was categorical. She also commented on the support she received from GERB-SDS in the last vote: "I accept it as part of the tactic whether there should be elections or not. In this case, GERB-SDS shows that it does not want to go to elections. My view is that this spiral of elections must stop".
When asked what actions she would take if she was elected Speaker of the Parliament, Kiselova indicated: "Our minimum program was on several legislative projects – The Electoral Code, the Judiciary Law, a conversation about the budget and filling in the "home book". These are signs to the other organs to start functioning more effectively.
