Pregnancy and childbirth benefits, as well as for raising a child up to 2 years of age and for adopting a child up to 5 years of age for this month, will be paid on December 31, the National Social Security Institute (NSI) announced, quoted by BTA. The payment covers about 68 thousand people.
On December 3, cash benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, for raising a child up to 2 years of age and for adopting a child up to 5 years of age for November were paid, the NSI added.

The National Social Security Institute reported that the costs of paying cash benefits and allowances under the Social Security Code as of November 30 amounted to BGN 2,455.7 million. This is BGN 388.2 million more than in the same period last year. The total amount of reported transfers (net) under the consolidated budget of the Social Security Institute as of October was BGN 10,497.9 million.
