As of 6:00 p.m., traffic for trucks exiting the country through the Border Checkpoint (BCCP) - "Kardam" on the border with Romania remains intense, the General Directorate of the "Border Police" (GDGP) announced on its website, BTA reported.

The "Border Police" recalls that until January 7, inclusive, a temporary organization of traffic will be introduced on the "Danube Bridge" bridge facility near Ruse - Giurgiu, with traffic being carried out in both lanes. In addition to the Ruse border checkpoint, drivers in the region can also go to the Silistra border checkpoint, the Kardam border checkpoint, the Durankulak border checkpoint, the Kaynardzha border checkpoint and the Krushari border checkpoint. The latter two are open from 8:00 to 20:00 every day and no trucks are allowed through them.

As of 9:30, the ferry ship Bdin, flying under the Bulgarian flag and serving the Nikopol-Turnu Magurele line, has resumed operations, the border authorities also informed. The processing of passengers and vehicles entering and leaving the country is carried out normally. There are no waiting trucks. They recall that the Romanian ferry "Europa" has suspended sailing to and from Romania due to damage.

On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the border checkpoints "Makaza", "Zlatograd" and "Ivaylovgrad".

Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints with Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia.

On the border with Turkey, traffic is normal at all checkpoints. Temporarily, crossing the "Malko Tarnovo" border checkpoint will be carried out on one route due to reconstruction of the checkpoint.
