Movement 21 and Bulgarian Spring leave the BSP-United Left coalition - 1

"Movement 21" and "Bulgarian Spring" are submitting applications to leave the BSP – UNITED LEFT coalition. This was announced on her Facebook page by the leader of "Movement 21" Tatyana Doncheva. The reasons for leaving the two formations are as follows:

The joining of the BSP – UNITED LEFT to a governing coalition with the mandate of the GERB Party is in contradiction with the goals of the left-wing coalition. According to the current coalition agreement and political platform, the main goal of the United Left is to create a management alternative. To oppose the vicious political model, giving birth to one assembly after another, completely ignoring the interests of Bulgarian citizens. To implement a left, center-left and patriotic policy, which would give the country a perspective as a European, democratic, competitive, social state.
Participation in a government, with the mandate of GERB, in partnership with right-wing formations, from the position of the fifth largest parliamentary force, gives extremely limited opportunities for the implementation of the set goals and for the implementation of socially oriented policies. The parliamentary group of the BSP-OL will serve the mandate holder as a cover for conjunctural, situational majorities, formed to serve interests foreign to the left and well-known corruption schemes in power. The model of governance through corruption, theft and abuse cannot be eliminated together with the individuals who created and embody it.
We will continue to work to restore the strong political representation of left-wing and center-left people in Bulgaria, say both parties. For a left-wing unity that is large not by list, but by voter trust. In which there is real partnership, collegial relationships, respect for different opinions. We will work for a united Left with authoritative individuals, with proven high public morality and categorically free from dependencies. Which is not encapsulated around the local and national bodies of one of the partners. A Left that attracts, includes and provides opportunities for full participation of different groups and interests. Which is truly influential, capable of fighting for the first places in the elections and governing the country in the interests of citizens.
