Bojankov: The government's refusal to request a report on the eurozone is a waste of time - 1

"The government's refusal to request a convergence report on the eurozone is a waste of time", commented PP-DB MP Yavor Bojankov in "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT.

Bulgaria should have a regular cabinet, but on issues like the one on the eurozone we will not give any tolerance, he also commented.

"We will support them in all important priorities for Bulgaria, but a compromise with the eurozone and with Bulgaria's orientation on the east-west axis, they will not have comfort - not 100 days, but 10 seconds".

Bojankov believes that "Vazrazhdane" are an imaginary opposition and are the most profitable from the situation.

"By missing this open window, we may find ourselves in a situation where we will not be able to enter the eurozone for years, if not decades. After this government, there is no way the alternative will come in the face of the pro-Russian "Vazrazhdane" or Peevski".

One of the big battles in this parliament will be for the justice system - the Supreme Judicial Council, the regulators and most importantly - the election of a new prosecutor general, the MP pointed out.

"We are talking about selective justice, when a number of signals against the "Vazrazhdane" party remain unanswered, with no desire even to be investigated".

Bozhankov added that he will file another signal against "Vazrazhdane" with the prosecutor's office - this time because of threats made by their deputies from the parliamentary rostrum that they will "burn" PP-DB.

"New Beginning" should not participate in the majority for the formation of a new SJC, the MP is categorical.

"We should consider Borisov's new cabinet as a continuation of the "Glavchev" cabinet, which is obviously staffed by Peevski. Borisov has always governed with a partner and the MRF in the shadows".

Yavor Bozhankov defended the vote of his colleagues from PP-DB on the immunities of Jeyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov. He himself would have voted to remove them, but was absent from the meeting due to official commitments. He defined Lena Borislavova's act of waiving her immunity as the most dignified.
