An elderly man lost his life after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Vratsa, BulNews reports.
The incident occurred in block 36, entrance "B" in the "Dabnika" residential complex. According to initial information, the 77-year-old man fell from the window of his apartment under still unclear circumstances.
Police, fire and emergency teams arrived at the scene. The medical team has confirmed the death of the elderly man.
The deceased's relatives say that today marks the one-year anniversary of his son's death, which according to his granddaughter could have influenced his decision.
The area around the block has been cordoned off for investigative actions. The arrival of an on-duty investigator is expected. The body will be transported for an autopsy to the local hospital.
