Alarming signals of unprecedented behavior in the National Assembly were revealed by the head of the parliamentary group of "Velichy" Ivelin Mihaylov on the air of the show hosted by Iliana Benovska.

According to the new MP's claims and testimonies of his relatives, Delyan Peevski showed aggression towards the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova, by bursting into her office with a joke in front of security guards from the National Security Service, who did not take any action.

Mihaylov told how, in front of those present, Peevski leaned over Kiselova's desk and threatened to kill her. "I will kill you," he shouted to impose his demands. According to Mihaylov, such scenes are not isolated cases.

"Either Peevski has completely gone mad and the parliament has become a madhouse in front of the people, or he really is all-powerful and doesn't care about anything", commented the MP from "Velichy".

According to what Ivelin Mihaylov said, this is not the first case in which Delyan Peevski has made death threats to political leaders and opponents. He pointed out that Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov does not take action on such signals, and most of those affected seek protection in foreign diplomatic missions. Natalia Kiselova, who is a person protected by the NSO, is also expected to seek help at the embassy.

The leader of the MECH political party, Radostin Vassilev, also testified about the incident, confirming the threats made to Kiselova. According to him, the speaker of the parliament personally complained to him on the phone, and there are recordings of the aggressive behavior.

"Natalia Kiselova called me and said that there was severe pressure on her. If she denies it, I will let her hear her voice. Someone was pressuring the speaker and she should explain who was pressuring her", Vassilev said in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

He added details from his conversation with Kiselova: "She told me, "there is severe pressure on me, that there are 9 of you at the moment" and I explained to her that one MP could be sworn in on Thursday and the other on Friday. And she said, "no, no, come on Friday". An hour after the presidential council, pressure is being applied!"
