US President Donald Trump said that his meeting with the new Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney went very well. According to him, there was no tension between the two leaders. But it was an unpleasant show for Canadians. It was not an exhibition, but the behavior of Canadian Prime Minister Carney showed fear in his meeting with Trump, although he spoke steadily. Carney first praised Trump, and then said that in Canada “ … we will stand up for our interests“. Another interesting thing is. For the first time, Trump broadcast part of the meeting, because he usually doesn't. The entire meeting Trump – Carney showed one thing to think about - should you walk on Trump's carpet and bow to him. This was announced to Lili Marinkova in the studio „FACTS“ and the show „Conversation“ by Petar Klisarov, chairman of the „Direct Democracy“ party.
„In Canada, there was a lot of talk about referendums, respectively about conquering territories through a referendum. A gun can be used for protection, it can also be used for killing. The same goes for referendums. If a politician lies to the people, they have a mechanism through this same referendum to quickly, cheaply and effectively correct the mistake. So if the referendum is used by politicians to achieve backstage, the people have a mechanism through a referendum to very quickly recall this or those politicians," the guest added.
