"Fears that machines will replace people are more than 100 years old. Even the Luddites were scared that machines would replace people during the industrial revolution. So the fear of automation is very old. It has increased labor productivity many times over, and yet people have not been left without work," Penchev commented.
He shared that he uses artificial intelligence to search for facts.
"What I used to do with Google, I increasingly use ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Perplexity. I find answers to questions very quickly. I don't think that any employer is responsible for the consequences of the development of artificial intelligence, but society as a whole must find a solution. It is the job of the whole society to see, if God forbid, one day artificial intelligence and robots create such a huge abundance and people are left without work, to see how to distribute it. This will be a new stage and an unprecedented stage in the history of society," the businessman predicted.
