A 19-year-old woman from the Pomorie village of Galabets died in a Burgas hospital after a traffic accident on the road between the Burgas villages of Mirolyubovo and Izvorishte.
This was reported by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Burgas, quoted by BTA.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m.
The deceased was traveling in a car with Burgas registration, driven by a 23-year-old from Pomorie. It was an independent accident - the driver lost control of the car while going over a bump in the road, the police specified.
He was tested for alcohol. The result was negative. His blood was taken for testing for drug use.
The man was detained for up to 24 hours. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case under the direct supervision of the Burgas District Prosecutor's Office.
