Today, aerial extinguishing will continue due to the difficult terrain and strong winds in the area, which continue to make it difficult for the teams to work. Two planes from Sweden are expected to join in the extinguishing. Nearly 60,000 acres of pastures, dry grass, bushes and forest were consumed by the fire in Sakar.

Earlier, a helicopter also joined the firefighting effort. Heavy tracked equipment was also sent to the scene to make clearings. 7 firefighting vehicles are also fighting the elements. At the moment, there is no danger to the residents of Melnitsa. Single fires continue to smolder in the neighboring village of Lesovo.
