A general worker died in an accident in Strumyani, BNR reports.
The man - an Albanian citizen, was hired by a house owner in the village to replace the beams on the roof.
Most likely, he slipped while working, as the new beams were wet from the rain that fell on Saturday, which is why he fell from the roof onto the construction materials. He died on the spot.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case. The investigation will establish how the Albanian citizen was hired and whether he resides legally in Bulgaria.
