NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska visited Bulgaria and, together with Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov, inspected the Alliance's Multinational Battle Group.
The two and Zapryanov discussed the challenges related to the war in Ukraine and security in the Black Sea and the Western Balkans, the Ministry of Defense reported.
For a week, the capabilities of the Bulgarian army and our military enterprises were reviewed by the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council, Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa, as well as by Shekerinska.
