Medical specialists in the health offices of kindergartens and schools can now work with the electronic system edu.his.bg, which contains information from the preventive examinations of children conducted during the year.
The system is available in a production environment and allows medical personnel to see data on students, but only in the educational institution in which they work.
Last week, nearly 2,000 medical specialists underwent training organized by “Information Services“ on working with the electronic system.
If necessary, an organization has been created to conduct additional training in September, and a Guide for working with the system has also been prepared.
It provides access only to data on height, weight, body mass index, circumference chest, allergies, immunizations, as well as contacts of the child's personal doctor and guardian. Teachers do not have access to this data, but parents can see it through the mobile application “eHealth“.
Electronization eliminates the need for parents to provide a paper personal health card at the beginning of the school year. The requirement to carry so-called contact notes is also eliminated.
The data from them is available in the system, and only medical specialists in educational institutions have access to it through a qualified electronic signature.
