A specialized team from the Burgas Naval Base from the composition of the Navy (Navy) completed a task of reconnaissance and transportation of the unmanned aerial vehicle, which was thrown from the sea on the North Beach in Burgas, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The reconnaissance, marking, extraction, transportation and destruction of unexploded ordnance group from the Naval Base was activated in connection with a signal submitted to the 112 telephone number for a spotted unmanned aerial vehicle (drone), an airplane type, in the water on the North Beach in Burgas.
After reconnaissance, the object was identified as an aircraft (drone), which does not contain an explosive substance, and does not pose a danger. With the permission of the Chief of Staff of the Navy, the specialized team transported the object to the Burgas Naval Base.
The servicemen acted upon a request from the Burgas Regional Governor and with a positive resolution from the Chief of Defense.
