The parliamentary group of "There is such a people" is united - there is no hesitation anywhere in the parliamentary group, not a single MP has a desire to go to the opposition. He stated this in "More from the day" on BNT, the party's MP Dimitar Gardev.
"We have a clear idea and goal of why we are in government, we are united in the tasks we have set, the deadlines, the implementation, the support of the government and our ministers".
In his words, the votes of no confidence show that the opposition is divided.
"The topics are absolutely diverse, the necessary critical mass cannot be created. This divided opposition and their diverse votes show that they are not an alternative".
The war in Ukraine has escalated and expanded its borders, Gardev commented on the entry of Russian drones into Poland.
"The use of all kinds of drones has increased so much, in huge volumes, humanity has never faced this before. The electronic warfare is so intensified that targets are being diverted - that is why both the Ukrainian and Russian sides have resorted to drones with optical fibers. Even Poland, which spends the largest percentage of its GDP on defense, is unable to cope with these new challenges on its own".
The entire eastern flank, including the Black Sea and Bulgaria, is facing this new danger, so a common unified strategy of NATO and the EU is needed, the MP said.
"A new type of defense in accordance with the new challenges and forms of weapons that are used. It will happen, but it takes time. The activation of Article 4 is for the purpose of consultations and there the member states have adequate information to give a clear answer to the question of whether this is a targeted full-scale aggression, whether objects of the critical infrastructure of the armed forces of the countries were hit, or it was an incident".
Gardev recalled that the ITN was the initiator of the declaration on Ukraine that Bulgarian soldiers would not participate there, given that there is no UN, NATO or EU mandate. "The Prime Minister, during the meetings with both Ursula von der Leyen and Costa, stepped on this declaration and it was recognized", he added.
