A 17.4% increase in the price of the fields in the Varna region in 2023, according to the Territorial Statistical Bureau - Northeast in the seaside city. The increase last year compared to 2022 was from BGN 1,590 per hectare to BGN 1,866 per hectare. Looking at the data for a longer period, namely from 2016 to 2023, the price increase is on average BGN 1,000 per acre, according to statistics.

For the past year, the most expensive land was traded in Valchi Dol municipality - BGN 2,862 per hectare. Aksakovo and Vetrino are next, respectively with prices per decare of BGN 2,035 and BGN 1,799 per decare.

At the other end of the ranking are Dulgopol and Provadia, where a hectare of land was traded for BGN 988 and BGN 1139.

A little over 100 is the number of agricultural plots that are currently being sold in the Varna region, according to the data on the largest real estate site imot.bg. The offer price starts from 32,000 EUR for 4 acres of level 5 category and reaches up to 250,000 EUR for a vineyard with an area of 11 acres and 6th category of land.

Next in terms of expensive agricultural land are the regions of Dobrich and Silistra. There, the price per acre is BGN 3,623 and BGN 2,395.
