„CamElion“ is the name of the new complex that was opened in Samokov. It was built on a plot of 75 acres. The mix of property types in it is not so popular for Bulgaria - housing (36 single-family and terraced houses), a hotel and a sports and recreation center. It has a conference and SPA center, restaurants. All this is located in a closed green environment with parks and alleys.
The investment is worth between 130 and 140 million BGN. It took the investor over 10 years to implement the project.
The houses have an area between 200 sq.m. and 400 sq.m. They are offered with a high degree of completion – kitchens, bathrooms, floors, fireplaces and underfloor heating. The heating is gas. They are built in such a way that they are predisposed to automation of the "smart home" type.
Buying a house in the complex is a good investment, as the investor offers the option of managing the property and renting it out on a hotel basis.
"The goal was to leave something behind - not just as infrastructure, but as a sustainable contribution to the development of the city", says Petar Georgiev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Samel-90“ – the company that implemented the project.
“Samelion“ also creates many jobs – nearly 200, with the majority of employees being local people.
Samokov has potential for development. It is the first Bulgarian city with an Olympic village, and in the coming years it will get a racing track, which will be built near “CamElion“, which is located meters from the river. “Iskar“, at the foot of Rila and minutes from the slopes of Borovets.
