Two Bulgarian companies, together with a Turkish one, will participate in the construction of the expansion of the Bucharest metro. The plans are to build an 11-kilometer route and 14 stations along the M4 metro line.
The investment is worth over 2 billion EUR. They are provided entirely by Europe. The new extension should be ready in 5 years.
„This is among the largest investments in recent years in Bucharest“, said the mayor of the Romanian capital, Daniel Baluca.
Currently, all three companies are working on the expansion of the Sofia metro through „Slatina“.
