Piskov, alleged to be the mastermind behind the draining of MK Piskov: Nothing leads to me - 1

The prosecution's alleged "brain" of the draining of state funds from the Ministry of Culture, Petko Piskov explains what he thinks is the truth about theater software. According to Petko Piskov, there is no evidence pointing to his guilt, BNT reported.

He defined the prosecution's attitude towards him as tendentious. He stated that of the five volumes of evidence, none led to him. Piskov asked who has such a great interest in him remaining in custody.

He added that with the same evidence, the first instance left him in custody, and the Court of Appeal stated that he had nothing to do with what happened.

Petko Piskov also commented on the claims of the theater in Pazardzhik that he did not return accounting documents.

He presented a folder with transmission and reception protocols. Piskov defined the actions of the theater in Pazardzhik as incompetent.

Piskov stated that his partner was detained for 24 hours without reason. In this case, intervention by emergency medics was necessary.

He recalled that there is triple verification on payments.

"When paying even one lev, the director must put the first signature. This should also be done by the accountant. After that, it goes to the Ministry of Culture for verification," explained Piskov.

Petko Piskov also gave a demonstration of how his software works and emphasized that there is no communication with banks, the National Revenue Agency and the National Institute of National Insurance.

IT specialist Petko Piskov, accused of assisting in the draining of state funds in particularly large amounts from the theaters in Smolyan and Razgrad, was released on bail of BGN 15,000. Atanas Georgiev, the other street person involved in the scheme, was also released on bail of BGN 10,000. At this stage, the conductor and director of the theater in Razgrad, Levon Manukyan, has not paid the BGN 50,000 bail set by the prosecutor's office. The deadline for depositing the amount is October 10.

The defendants Petko Piskov and Atanas Georgiev were the only ones detained in custody under the so-called "theatrical affair" that began to unravel last week, when the conductor Levon Manukyan, director of the Music and Philharmonic Theater in Razgrad, as well as Rumen Bechev - director of the cultural institution in Smolyan, were detained.
