"I am not surprised by what happened with "We continue the change". This, in my opinion, was also the goal of taking power in Sofia." This position was expressed in front of News.bg by the MP from PP MECH and national security expert Prof. Nikolay Radulov.
He recalled the scandalous recording of the internal meeting of PP, which MECH leader Radostin Vassilev (then a PP MP) published online, emphasizing that everything in it was confirmed.
"For me, this is more of a relapse. Up to now, the entire behavior of PP as a group has been related to fraud, some kind of fraud. This is their style," Radulov commented.
Regarding Kiril Petkov's resignation as leader and as a member of parliament, the MECH MP pointed out that there was no heroism in this act, since Petkov had been exposed.
According to him, the former leader of the PP has no morals or rather has "Canadian-lumberjack morals". "The PP started with a bang and ended with a bang," he added.
Radulov also commented that corruption exists where there is money. That is why public procurement is emerging as a weak link.
"There is a panic in the state administration for any kind of electronicization, for artificial intelligence, for electronic records and for blockchain", commented the MP.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior has the vicious practice of having entire families work, and the reform in the sector has ended "in the same way that the Public Procurement Act ended".
"Everything is a simulation of change. There is no general desire for change," is convinced by Prof. Radulov, emphasizing that the Ministry of Interior has closed down as a structure and "does not care about the people".
He criticizes the work of professional organizations that are trying to say who is in charge.
"It cannot be done without eradicating the tumor", Prof. Radulov is convinced about the work of the Ministry of Interior. He also suspected increasing dependencies in the sector.
He also asked what is happening with the cases against the oligarchs and emphasized that now the prosecution acts as an executor of orders. Prof. Nikolay Radulov reported that the prosecutor's office works according to the "input:output" system of Multigroup, but in a new version.
Overall, according to him, one of the biggest problems is the lack of trust in the work of the entire security sector. Radulov also believes that the authorities have no interest in change.
"People are currently showing incredible patience. The ordinary person must understand that the power is within him, but he cannot do it alone," pointed out Prof. Radulov.
