The district prosecutor's office has raised the most serious charge against Nikola Burgazliev, who killed five people with an ATV in Sunny Beach.
It is for intentionally causing death after using drugs.
The case is classified as particularly serious.
The law provides for 13 to 20 years in prison or life, Burgas district prosecutor Georgi Chinev announced at a briefing.
