The court annulled the dismissal of the main director of the National Theater Alexander Morfov from the spring of last year. This was announced on Facebook by the wife of the director Reni Vrangova.
Morfov was dismissed on disciplinary grounds by director Vasil Vassilev. According to the decision, Morfov should be reinstated as the chief director, and the National Theater was also ordered to pay two fines.
The court decision is from yesterday, October 15.

The decision of the court is not final and may be appealed.
Last February, Vasil Vassilev fired the director on the grounds of "damaging the prestige of the theater".
The noisy scandal at the National Theater that broke out in October 2022 began with a scratched door after a performance of "Hushes", when, angry that DPS publicist Velislava Krasteva was appointed as the publicist of the National Theater, Morfov scratched the office door her.
