On June 9 (Monday), on the day of the Holy Spirit, he will have a concert under the title “Holiday in Montana“. The event will start at 11:00 a.m. And from 7:30 p.m. local groups will show the best of Bulgarian folklore in a joint concert with Iliya Lukov.
The evening concerts on June 10 and 11 will offer a combination of groups from Montana and foreign ensembles. Dance School “Kanatitsya“, Representative Dance Ensemble “Mladost“, Representative Dance Ensemble “Pustrina“, Dance Ensemble “Severnyatsi“, Dance Ensemble “Radost“ and Folk Dance Ensemble “Sitnitsa“ will take turns on the festival stage with visiting bands from Yerevan, Edinburgh, Kosice, Deva, Resen and Paraiso.
The International Folklore Festival in Montana is establishing itself as a significant cultural event that attracts performers and audiences from the country and abroad. So far, bands from over 40 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and North America have participated in it. Traditionally, it shares with the festival “Pastra ogrlitsa“ in Varshets the opportunity for its audience to enjoy the performances of the visiting bands in Montana.
