Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic voice of Black Sabbath, has died of a heart attack, The New York Times reported. A death certificate filed in London by his daughter Amy Rose Osbourne listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease as underlying health conditions. The fatal heart attack occurred outside a hospital setting.
The Daily Mail reported that an air ambulance was dispatched to Ozzy's estate, Welders House, in Buckinghamshire, on the morning of July 22. The helicopter landed in a nearby field at around 10:30 a.m. before returning to its base at RAF Benson in South Oxfordshire two hours later.
Ozzy's sister, Jean Powell, told The Mirror that the loss had come as a surprise to the family. "He was frail, but it was still a shock," she said.
“He still had plans and things he wanted to do. It's so sad. I'm grateful he died in England.“
