Veselin Stoynev's comment:
GERB turns out to be the party of policemen and restaurateurs. For some - half and up more salaries, for others - half and up less taxes. Good morning, this is the Gerber professional gene and way of life, some will say. Others will wave their hand - sure, the class-branch base of power is not from yesterday. Others will wisely refer to the national mentality - Ganyo likes to fight and drink, but another Ganyo will envy him with no less passion.
Ganyo is not a politician by the pay
The third ones are wrong. And in non-Gany societies, the anger of the rest, who are harmed by the disproportionate distribution of public goods in favor of only a few, cannot be untied. Especially in a democracy, you are obliged to put the notebook of justice on the table, justify your benevolence with the common pie, and be ready to pay the price.
But Ganyo is not a politician when it comes to paying. More than a year ago, the parties from the current ruling four-party coalition, plus the supposedly opposition "Vazrazhdane", generously voted for impressive rates of salary growth in the security sector for this year. After all, the government back then was nobody's, official, someone else should think about the budget this year, when it came time to pay what was promised. And now, when they had to write the budget themselves, they started talking about a gap of 18 billion and about the fact that Asen Vassilev is to blame. And the gap pulsates depending on which side of it you stand on – if it is on a cash basis, it is a hole, if it is on an accrual basis – it is already a cosmic black hole.
Budgetary hole under anesthetic hypnosis
Good, but last year's hole was a cooperative work of the assembly and GERB approved it. But now they say: oh no, we trusted Asen too much. And Delyan Dobrev claims that Vassilev hypnotized everyone by not blinking, so Delyan himself already avoided looking him in the eye – so, they fell into a trance and voted for the hole.
Okay, let's say they sinned under anesthetic hypnosis, and what is written in the law is promised, there is no way it will not be fulfilled. Well, then at least trim the edges of the hole, why pour hundreds of millions into a hat! Here, there are over 5,000 pensioners – over 10% of those employed in the Ministry of Interior who receive both a pension and a salary, now with the increase they will almost reach ministerial income. Release them, give young people a chance to develop, save money. Give 50% to the policeman from the patrol unit, to the criminalist, but why a kalpak - and to those who only do clerical work. So that they don't get angry? So that everyone in the system is happy? Yes, the Ministry of Interior is actually "the Ministry of Interior system", no head of the Ministry of Interior will tell you just the Ministry of Interior, but "the Ministry of Interior system". And rightly so, because the expenses of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior relative to GDP are nearly three times greater than the average for the EU, so this is a hole in every way, sorry – system.
Borisov is bigger than everyone
The situation with the waste among restaurateurs is even more innocent - there is no hypnosis, there is a man's word. Covid has long passed, but their VAT will remain 9%, it will not be 20% like the others. Because Borisov promised Alibegov. And please, without such insinuations - that the restaurant is bigger than bread, than medicines, than baby food. Boyko Borisov is simply bigger than everyone - than the Joint Management Council, than the government, than the parliament, even than the budget, which is like a bedside table for him.
Even the eurozone. So what is the eurozone for without a fight, … and Serbian music? If we don't enter, at least we'll be beaten and drunk. And those who are straining against the police and the pub - on the shameful board. Alibegovtsi and Kalinstoyanovtsi have already drawn the faces of the deputies who will vote against their high salaries and low taxes.
National gratitude from the rest with 20% VAT
It remains for kindergartens, bakeries, food chains, hospitals, pharmacies and wherever else to stick the faces of the deputies who have made millions happy, and to thank them. The sick should be grateful that medicines will become even more expensive by draining the health fund without auctions in private hospitals; nurses should be grateful that they will finally disappear as a profession; mothers should be grateful that they first have to go to a pub before feeding their child; pensioners should be grateful that they managed to briefly enjoy their increased pensions, but things are now falling into place. And business and professionals should be thankful that the eurozone may only be an added value from the victory of the pub-policeman class. If it is not - good luck to them.
By the way, being a policeman and a restaurateur are wonderful professions, as is being a deputy. However, if they turn into an oppressive class, the exacerbation of the class struggle is inevitable, Marx taught. But it was easy for him not to pay the expenses, because the capitalist Engels supported him.
