European champion Leonardo Bonucci honored the Bulgarian custom of decorating himself with martenitsa. This happened thanks to financier Kiril Evtimov, who bumped into the Italian at the second leg of the Champions League 1/8 finals between Tottenham and Atletico in London. The Madrid team lost 2:3 away to the “Spurs“, but qualified for the next phase thanks to their crushing 4:0 success in the first leg.
The Bulgarian used the occasion to present a martenitsa to the legendary defender of Juventus and “Squadra Azzurri“. “Leonardo was delighted with the martenitsa, they wished him luck in Italy's upcoming play-offs for the World Cup qualification“, shares Evtimov.

Bonucci is in the staff of the “squad” coach” Gennaro Gattuso, as the team first has a match against Northern Ireland, and if it wins, it will play a decisive match with the winner of Wales and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Evtimov also saw another legendary football player, who was also present at “Tottenham Stadium”. We are talking about Ronnie Rosenthal, who played for Liverpool and Tottenham. The Israeli football icon is well known in our country. He had a huge contribution to Israel's victory over France 3:2 in Paris in October 1993, a match that gave our team a chance to play for visas to America a month later.

Rosenthal sent special greetings to his friend Emil Velev-Kokala and Krasimir Balakov.
