Alexa Grasso achieved an impressive knockout victory over Macy Barber in the first round of their fight in the “flyweight“ category. The match was the main event of the UFC Fight Night 271 event, held in Seattle, Washington, reports mma.bg.
It all ended shortly after the start of the third minute, when Grasso landed a powerful left punch, which knocked out her rival. She subsequently applied a submission hold, although this turned out to be unnecessary, since Barber was already unconscious.
With this success, Grasso broke her streak of two consecutive losses, while Barber ended her impressive streak of seven victories. This was also the Mexican's second victory over the American, after she also defeated her by decision in 2021.
