Vladimir Zografski ranked 34th in the large hill race in Titisee-Neustadt of the Men's Ski Jumping World Cup, BTA reports. After six consecutive races in which he was in the points zone, the Bulgarian failed to do so today. He made a jump of 122.5 meters, which earned him only 110.3 points. Thus, a little more than six points were not enough for him to place among the top 30, who also participate in the second jumps.
The winner of the race was the leader in the general classification Pius Paschke. The German won for the fifth time in eight races since the beginning of the season. He made jumps of 141.5 and 142 meters, which brought him a total of 290.4 points.
Paschke was second after the first attempts after Michael Haiböck, but the Austrian was unable to maintain his lead and finished 0.4 points behind him - with exactly 290. Haiböck made the longest jumps of the day - of 145 and 143 meters, but lower scores in terms of style deprived him of victory.
Norwegian Kristofer Sundal finished in third place with 284.7 points. His attempts were of 143 and 140 meters.
In the World Cup standings, Paschke is the leader with 676 points. Second with 456 points is Austrian Daniel Chofenich, and five points behind him is his compatriot Jan Hörl. Zografski is in 37th position with 21 points.
