Bulgaria's rival in the world qualifiers, Georgia, recorded a crushing 6:1 victory against Armenia in the playoff match to get into the second division of the League of Nations football tournament, BTA reported.
George Mikautadze scored twice for the Georgians, and the other goals were scored by Varazdad Haroyan, Giorgi Chakvetadze, Otar Kiteishvili and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The hosts led 5-0 only until the break and Kvaratskhelia scored the final 6-1 in the 62nd minute of the match, making the aggregate score 9-1.
With this victory, the Georgians retained their place in League B, after finishing behind the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
