Velasquez: Levski is obliged to show respect to its fans - 1

Levski is obliged to show respect to its supporters and play only for victories until the end of the season in the Bulgarian football championship, said head coach Julio Velasquez before the match with Arda (Kardzhali) on Wednesday, BTA reported.

"The Blues" have already secured second place this season and have no significant goals until the end of the efbet League.

"We are very pleased that we achieved our goal three rounds before the end of the season, but we want to respect the championship in which we participate. We are obliged to show respect to the club and our supporters, as well as to ourselves. We want to do it with a good game and wins in the remaining matches," Velasquez said during a press conference before the round.

"We are analyzing all the circumstances. This week, we have two matches in a relatively short period of time and we have to decide who will play and how much. We haven't made that decision yet. We have training tomorrow, but I have a general idea of how we should look," he continued, adding that he has to manage the playing minutes of some players.

"Matej Markovic is training, but not yet with normal dynamics. It is more likely that he will not be in the group. Things are developing positively with Fabio Lima and we only escaped with a scare of a serious injury. He is training on par with the others today and then working individually. Fabien is also training with the others, tomorrow we will decide for the two of them," the Spaniard added.

"I have no doubts about our motivation, but we are also human beings, we may not win. I can guarantee that we will go out on the pitch to do it. We are focused and, as I have always said, we will approach it responsibly. We are looking for our best version every day," said Velasquez before the meeting with Arda.

The Spanish coach added that last week he visited the "Blues" summer training ground before the start of the new season.
