Levski's management is increasingly inclined to not comply with the new rule for Bulgarians in the eFbet League, Gong.bg reported. "The Blues" will submit a declaration before the start of the season that they will not use four Bulgarian players in the starting lineup in each match, and a fifth will be on the bench, with one of them necessarily being under 21 years old.

Thus, the capital's residents will pay a fee at the end of the season, which is equal to the money they will receive from UEFA as solidarity - about 400,000 leva. In addition, they will also lose revenue from the other clubs, which will also not comply with the rule and will pay. As is known, this money will be distributed among the teams that have adhered to the rules.

Initially, Levski's executive director Daniel Borimirov was adamant that Levski would comply with the new rule "4". "Levski cannot afford this luxury of paying 400,000 leva. We have also started paying the interest owed to the National Revenue Agency. Of course, Levski has played with Bulgarian players up until now".

After the draw for the championship, however, his position changed. "First, I have to gather the entire Board of Directors, to do an analysis, for everyone to have their say. The amounts are not small at all, so I will want every member of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board to have their say".

Ultimately, "Gerena" are increasingly inclined to not comply with the new rule of the football headquarters. In Levski, the number of Bulgarians is not enough to be sure that the team will be competitive with the other teams in the battle for the prize places. At the moment, the team has Svetoslav Vutsov, Ognyan Vladimirov, Kristian Dimitrov, Georgi Kostadinov, Asen Mitkov, Radoslav Kirilov, Borislav Rupanov, and Marin Petkov. The latter is expected to be sold this summer.

At the same time, Levski parted ways with Asen Chandarov, Iliyan Stefanov, Antoan Stoyanov, and David Mihalev. The same is expected to happen with Alexander Kolev. The national team will not start training with the team and has been sent to the second team. In addition, so far coach Julio Velasquez has not imposed any of the juniors in the first team.
