Leeds and Iliya Gruev drew 0:0 with Manchester United in their first friendly match of the summer training, played in front of over 45 thousand spectators in Stockholm. The Bulgarian international started as a starter for the "Whites", who returned to the English top flight.
Gruev was in the starting 11 for Leeds, excelling with good performances and remaining on the pitch until the 86th minute, when he was replaced by Charlie Crewe.
United's new signing Mateusz Cunha was in the starting line-up, and alongside him played Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo, Matthijs de Ligt and Nousair Mazraoui.
The friendly match was also the first for the "Red Devils" during the summer training.
Leeds' next test is on August 2 against Villarreal.
