A deal between Napoli and Manchester United for the Danish Rasmus Hoylund will happen, the media on the Island report. The 22-year-old footballer is going to Napoli on loan until the end of the season, and the deal is worth 6 million euros. Napoli will have an obligation to buy Hoylund for 44 million euros if certain conditions are met, BTA adds.
Hoylund agreed on his personal terms with the Italian champions a few days ago and will undergo medical examinations in the next 24 hours. Napoli, on the other hand, are stepping up their search for a new striker after Romelu Lukaku's serious injury.
Hoylund already has experience in Serie A, having come to Manchester United from Atalanta in 2023 with a transfer for a total of nearly 78 million euros. However, the Dane has been a disappointment overall and the club have no intention of relying on him. He has scored 26 goals and provided 6 assists in a total of 95 appearances for United.
