Prof. Vanya Dobreva before FACTS: BSP is a complicated party (VIDEO) - 1

BSP is a complex party. Don't think we're going to talk about “Continuing the change” or DSB, but they are extremely close to Mrs. Ninova and Mr. Metodiev. They started together first in the administration, and then I noticed it during the local elections. The BSP supported many mayors of the PP-DB coalition, so Bulgarian public life is complicated, and the BSP is a complicated party. This is what he announced to Lili Marinkova in the "FACTS" studio. and the show “Conversation“ Prof. Vanya Dobreva, lecturer at the Institute of Library Science.

„Oligarchs in BSP? Who are these oligarchs? I am not convinced that a party should be commented on in this way. The membership table of the BSP is a mirror image of part of the people in Bulgaria. After all, people are connected with their ideals, with their dreams, with their plans for the path of Bulgaria. That the party member is afraid that a global flood will come so that something like the only alternative can be offered… I think that this is a very shallow scenario, this is a shallow lie that we have been living in for the last 5-6 years since the last election of Mrs. Ninova as president,“, Prof. Dobreva also said.

“Let us remember something. When the last election for the chairman of the BSP was held, it was announced that 80,000 people - that is the membership mass of the BSP - would vote. Of those 80,000, about 50,000 voted - that is, about half. And another part of the members refused to participate in the election at all. And of these 50,000, a part voted for Cornelia Ninova. Far less than half of the party's membership. Thus, Kornelia Ninova was not elected by the majority of party members, but was elected by a significantly smaller group. But we can't just criticize her, we have to be objective and say that as a parliamentarian, Cornelia Ninova is an extremely well-prepared person, a fighter, she stands up for causes. I share her defense of the Istanbul Convention, I have supported her position on the migration pact. I think that she should have been even more justified and persistent in talking about the “Green Deal”, which I consider disastrous. Not everything can be black and not everything can be white, but nuances, positives must be looked for and pointed out, Prof. Dobreva added.
