Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland rejects any manipulation and disinformation suggesting that Ukraine is to blame for the incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace amid Russia's massive strike against Ukraine, the Polish news agency PAP reported, quoted by BTA.
The statement came after a meeting of the National Security Council, which was attended by Tusk, Polish President Karol Nawrocki and other high-ranking officials.
“This position of our military, services, the president and mine is unequivocal - we reject all manipulation and disinformation suggesting that Ukraine is behind this attack, that this is a Ukrainian provocation“, he said Tusk.
“Our information on the case is clear, the responsibility for the events in the Polish sky lies with the Russian Federation“, he pointed out.“The Council, Tusk added, focuses on the propaganda spread by Moscow, as well as on the related behavior in Poland.“
“We can increasingly easily identify those who, whether for political reasons, or out of stupidity, or because they are traitors, serve Russian propaganda and disinformation“, the Polish Prime Minister emphasized.“
