The situation in two districts of Belgorod region - Rkaynyatsky and Krasnoyarsk - is extremely difficult due to attacks by Ukrainian armed forces, Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of the Russian region, reported on his Telegram channel.
"Unfortunately, the operational situation remains extremely difficult. In recent days, the situation has been extremely difficult in Krasnoyarsk and Rakityansky districts. Yesterday alone, 10 people were injured. Three people died: one in Shebekinsky district and two in Rakityansky," Gladkov wrote.
The head of the region expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks by Ukrainian armed forces. He stressed that the Territorial Defense Forces and the Ministry of Defense are doing everything possible to improve the situation and stabilize the operational environment.
Ukrainian armed forces launched over 100 drones towards Russia last night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on its Telegram channel.
According to the ministry, air defense forces shot down 114 drones overnight over ten Russian regions, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. The largest number of drones - 25 each - were intercepted over the Rostov region and Krasnodar region.
Another 19 devices were shot down over the Belgorod region, 13 over the Astrakhan region, 10 over Crimea, seven over the Bryansk region, five over the Sea of Azov, three each over the Yaroslavl and Volgograd regions, two over the Black Sea, and one each over the Kursk and Voronezh regions.
On the night of September 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense also reported a strike by the Ukrainian armed forces in Crimea, which killed three people and injured 16 others. According to the governor of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, a sanatorium and a school in the village of Foros were hit.
