According to Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the EU-3 countries (Great Britain, Germany and France) must now choose either the path of confrontation with Iran or the path of cooperation.
“During my trip to New York, I will meet with most European foreign ministers. Now all countries must decide whether to choose cooperation or confrontation“, he said in an interview with Iranian state television after arriving in New York.
The minister added that Tehran would take “necessary measures“ if an agreement with the West cannot be reached in the coming days.
“If there is a solution to the nuclear crisis, it is only diplomatic. "I hope we can achieve this through consultations in the coming days. Otherwise, the Islamic Republic of Iran will take the necessary measures," Araghchi said.
