Nigel Farage: Eastern European migrants are eating swans from London's Royal Parks

In the UK, the leader of "Reform UK" Nigel Farage said in an interview with London's LBC radio that Eastern European migrants are catching swans from London's Royal Parks and carp from lakes across the country to eat them. However, the Parks Authority immediately denied this information.

Nigel Farage was reprimanded for spreading false information and "wild conspiracy theories" after he accused Eastern Europeans, and Romanians in particular, of eating swans in parks in his latest attack on migrants living in the UK.

The leader of the "Reformers" made this comment in an interview with LBC radio after being asked about US President Donald Trump's baseless claim last year that Haitian immigrants in the US eat cats and dogs.

The charity Royal Parks quickly dismissed Farage's claims, saying: "We have had no reports of incidents of people killing or eating swans in London's eight Royal Parks."

The ruling Labour Party said the "reformer" leader's latest outburst was yet another example of why he should not be trusted.

A Labour MP said Farage's words were taken directly from Trump's "singer" and were a deliberate attempt to inflame tensions in communities.
