A Russian missile damaged the building of the consular section of the Polish embassy in Kiev during an attack on Kiev, a spokesman for the Polish Foreign Ministry said, quoted by the Polish news agency PAP, BTA reported.
“A fragment of the missile damaged the roof, the same one that was repaired after the previous similar attack“, Pawel Wronski told PAP. He pointed out that no one was injured and the embassy continues to operate normally.
“The damage is minor, but its assessment is still ongoing“, Wronski added. The previous Russian attack, during which the Polish embassy building was damaged, was in early July this year.
On the night of September 27-28, Russia launched a large-scale 12-hour attack on the Ukrainian capital. Russian forces attacked Ukraine using drones and missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia had used about 500 combat drones in the night attack that night, killing four people and wounding at least 40.
