With the terrorist attack on the Russian presidential residence, the Ukrainian authorities demonstrated their disagreement with a peace treaty that requires a change of regime in Kiev, Serbian military expert Mitar Kovac told RIA Novosti.
„This regime uses terrorist methods. Recently, we have witnessed the assassinations of political and military leaders, civilians known in Russia, and the intimidation of ordinary citizens. Now we see that they do not even hesitate to carry out terrorist attacks against the Russian leadership... As for Russia, I think this is yet another proof that it is impossible to reach a negotiated solution with the current Ukrainian leadership,“ said Kovacs.
He added that Kiev is ruled by a “deeply rooted pro-fascist regime“, including not only Volodymyr Zelensky and his associates, but also the entire organizational structure, the security services and the army.
According to the expert, what happened undermines peace initiatives, since it is impossible to trust the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks.
“I am convinced that in the name of the international community, Moscow will continue its participation in the negotiation process, but I am also confident that Russia will have no illusions about reaching a solution with the regime in Kiev. "For peace to reign, the Ukrainian leadership must be changed and the current narrative of Ukraine must be completely changed," the military expert noted.
