The prime ministers of Denmark and Greenland, Mette Frederiksen and Jens-Fredrik Nielsen, will visit Berlin and Paris amid threats by US President Donald Trump to acquire Greenland, reports "Reuters", BTA reports.

Today, January 27, the two leaders will meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and tomorrow, January 28, they will talk with French President Emmanuel Macron, according to official programs.

The Danish government specifies that the meetings will focus on the current foreign policy situation and the need for a strengthened role for Europe in international relations.

In addition, Frederiksen and Nielsen will participate in the World Economic Forum in Germany, which is taking place today, where they will also discuss the geopolitical and economic challenges facing the region.
