An 18-year-old injured in the fire at the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana on New Year's Eve has died in a Zurich hospital, becoming the 41st victim of the tragedy.
Most of the dead are minors. Several dozen of the injured - a total of 115 people - are still in hospitals in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy and Belgium with severe burns.
The investigation showed that the fire was caused by fountain-type candles attached to bottles, which first ignited soundproofing on the ceiling of the establishment. The owners of the bar - two French citizens - are charged with negligent homicide, bodily harm and negligent arson.
