British police arrested Andrew Mountbatten today, Reuters reported, citing the BBC.
He has been charged with abuse of office, BTA reported.
A little earlier, the "Daily Telegraph" reported that officers had arrived at the residence of the 66-year-old brother of Britain's King Charles III in eastern England.
The British publication indicates that six unmarked police cars and about eight plainclothes police officers were seen arriving at Wood Farm, near the Sandringham estate, earlier today.
Police said earlier this month that they were investigating allegations that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor shared confidential government documents with the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has denied any wrongdoing and said he regrets his friendship with Epstein, but did not answer questions from journalists after the declassification of the "Epstein" files by the US Department of Justice, Reuters notes.
