We made a big mistake! Former German President Insists on Transfer of Taurus Missiles to Ukrainian Army

Former German President Joachim Gauck believes it is a mistake that Germany has not yet delivered "Taurus" cruise missiles to Ukraine, writes European Pravda, quoted by Focus.

Several years ago, the Kiev government asked Berlin for "Taurus" missiles. Former Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected the request, citing a possible escalation of the conflict, while his successor Friedrich Merz ruled out the possibility of such a delivery.

Gauck also stressed that there is no war fever in his country. However, he added that there are people who realize that Putin is taking advantage of weakness and undermining the West's resolve with his threats. Therefore, Germany should invest more in defense.
