The US is offering up to $10 million for information on Khamenei Jr. and other officials of the ayatollahs' regime, AFP reported.
A notice published by the US State Department's Diplomatic Security Service lists the officials and figures wanted, including Mojtaba Khamenei, his slain father's deputy chief of staff Ali Asghar Hejazi, and senior security official Ali Larijani.
Other names on the list include Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military adviser to the Supreme Leader, Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib.
Four other unnamed positions are listed: the secretary of the Supreme Defense Council, the head of the Supreme Leader's military office, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran.
According to the text of the announcement, these individuals are described as key leaders involved in the command and management of various branches of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which, as stated, are responsible for planning, organizing and conducting operations worldwide.
The "Rewards for Justice" program states that individuals with information about these figures or about senior commanders and their associated networks can contact the program via encrypted messaging platforms or a communication channel based on the Tor network.
The announcement states that suitable information could lead to a reward of up to $10 million.
